The Mystery of Memory

It’s often said that a person is the sum of their memories. Your experience is what makes you who you are.
I believe that we are everything that we have been through, everything that we have seen, everything that has been done to us, and everyone that we have had relationships with.
Most people talk about memory as if it were a thing they have. But your memory doesn't exist in the way a part of your body exists -- it's not a "thing" you can touch. It's a concept that refers to the process of remembering. Memories are stored in a region of the brain called the hippocampus.
Through the layering, manipulation of wires and papers I have worked to create a metaphor of my brain.
The brain represented by a cocoon, which it reflects the idea that the brain holds our memories. The cocoon made out of wires and old burned transparent paper, but you still can see through it.
Inside the cocoon I casted my hands closing together holding and protecting my memories. But the hands start fading, melting and effecting the surrounding.
